RESIDENCY AT FÁBRICA DE PÓLVORA DE VALE DE MILHAÇOS
Between 2018 and 2020, Musa paradisiaca has been in residency at Fábrica de Pólvora de Vale de Milhaços, a post-industrial heritage site located in Corroios, classified as a monument of public interest since 2012, and part of the Seixal Municipal Ecomuseum since 2001.
“Animal-house” (2017) — a sculpture for the public space — has been installed on site since 2019, celebrating this long term partnership between Ecomuseum, Seixal’s Municipal Council and Musa paradisiaca, as a space for other residencies, particularly with students.
