(POV)

The project (POV), developed by Musa paradisiaca, emerges as a visual and emotional exploration of subjectivity in moments of care. Central to its concept is the use of glasses equipped with embedded cameras, distributed to invited collaborators who record everyday episodes from a deeply personal and intimate perspective.

These recordings capture instances of attention, care, or closeness, highlighting a significant tension between voyeurism and confession. The camera, positioned at the site of the gaze, dissolves the boundaries between observer and observed, exposing the emotional intensity of lived moments and challenging notions of intimacy and exposure.

Initially presented in Turin at the Artissima fair, the project received careful attention, evoking sensory narratives that go beyond the visual to address ethical and emotional questions surrounding observation. This body of work will continue with a new presentation at Galeria Quadrado Azul in Porto, reinforcing its ability to foster dialogue in different artistic and cultural contexts.

POV is an invitation to reflect on how artistic practice can reconfigure the gaze and perception of ordinary situations, transforming them into complex landscapes of connection and vulnerability.
